Customer requirements

For the opening of Macelleria Norcineria MMC srls in Nepi, in the province of Viterbo, Italy, the goal was to create a retail space that combines functionality, efficient space planning and a carefully coordinated selection of refrigeration solutions and furnishings. From the outset, following the acquisition of the premises, the customer worked closely with AM Design Srl, Oscartielle’s retail design agency, to plan the store layout, from the sales area to the preparation laboratory, and select finishes that would enhance the overall design. Particular attention was given to the arrangement of the display counters, with a linear layout designed to integrate seamlessly into the space while meeting the store’s operational requirements.

Oscartielle’s Role and Solutions

For a new store opening, effective space planning is essential to coordinating the various stages of the project and ensuring a smooth installation process. Oscartielle supported the project by providing the technical expertise and know-how needed to meet these requirements. Its contribution was particularly valuable during the construction phase, helping ensure that the technical systems and designated spaces were properly prepared for the installation of the refrigeration solutions. Through technical support and close collaboration with the professionals involved, Oscartielle helped translate the project’s design requirements into practical solutions, supporting key decisions and facilitating the development of the new store.

Three professional refrigeration solutions were selected for the project: Major 2 VDA, Nettuno and Dione Doors. Each solution contributes to a cohesive product display while making the most of the available space. Major 2 is a refrigerated serve-over counter available in various configurations and depths. Its upward-opening glass panels ensure convenient access to the products while enhancing everyday usability. Nettuno is a compact rear service cabinet designed to be mounted directly onto metal shelving, offering an effective space-saving solution. Dione Doors is a vertical refrigerated cabinet designed to minimise its floor footprint while maximising product visibility. Its low-emissivity double-glazed doors also help improve energy efficiency. Together, these solutions meet the store’s operational needs while contributing to a well-organised and visually consistent retail environment.
